Alexander Shorokhoff – Chrono Regulator

Even at first glance, the new Chrono-Regulator-Skeleton fascinates with its design and technical innovations. This is proof that a Chrono-Regulator can be presented functionally and in terms of readability very well even as a “skeleton” version.

The chrono regulator is a rare version of the chronograph. The hour, minute and second indications are placed in three different locations: The minute comes from the center, the hour is located at 6 o’clock and the second is found at 9 o’clock. In addition, there is the stop function with two hands: the large second hand from the center and the small minute counter at 3 o’clock. Due to the blued hands and the clear time division, it is very easy to read the time.

Another feature is the rhodium-plated and skeletonized date display disc. In order to see the date clearly in one position, a special bridge with a window at 6 o’clock was developed. Below this window, on the movement’s plate, there is a circular area to which a thin layer of dark blue enamel has been applied to improve visibility. The movement of the timepiece is not only hand-skeletonized, it is also hand-engraved on both sides. The production of such watches is very laborious and is therefore strictly limited to 68 pieces per dial.
