Delivery Policy

Delivery of items purchased on About-timepieces.com is free to all worldwide locations.

All items have an estimated delivery time noted withing the product listing in the shop. We aim to provide as accurate a delivery time as possible and rest assured, we will get your order to you as quickly as possible.

Delivery times can however vary substantially, depending on the brand purchased and the location the item is shipped to. These delivery times could change on a per order basis and could also be affected by other influencing factors, which may be outwith our control. These may be, but are not limited to lack of stock, manufacturer delays, adverse weather, or severe logistical delays. Some stock is held in the UK, but many items will be delivered directly from the manufacturers. In addition, if you order a made to order, or bespoke item, the delivery time could take many months to arrive with you.

Please also note, that some luxury animal skin items that are used (specifically for watch straps) are protected under CITES and the international movement of the items are strictly monitored.  The import/export requires paperwork on both sides and this can therefor delay the shipping of items, sometimes by many weeks.

If you are concerned about delivery timescales at any point, please do get in touch and we will do our best to help.

We use a trackable delivery service and in most cases, a signature will be required on delivery. You will be provided with a courier tracking number once the parcel has left and is on the way to you, so you can keep track of delivery progress.

Items sold on About-Timepieces.com do not include UK VAT, unless your delivery address is in the UK.  If you are in the UK, orders will be delivered without any additional duties to be paid on delivery, however, if importing goods to or from countries outwith the UK, there is a chance you may have to pay additional local duties and/or taxes. It is up to the purchaser to find out what these might be and unfortunately, we can not advise or comment on what these additional costs may be.
