Terms and Conditions
General
These Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Delivery Policy and Returns Policy provide information about us and constitute the legal terms and conditions (‘Terms’) for which we sell any of the goods (‘Goods’) listed on our website (and any associated pages, or references) (‘Website’) to you.
www.about-timepieces.com is operated by 6 Zero Events Ltd. Any and all references to “we”, “us”, “6 Zero Events”, “About-timepieces”, “about-timepieces.com” or similar terms are a reference to this entity.
Any and all references to “you”, “your”, “customer”, “consumer” or similar terms, are a reference to you being the consumer of Goods from our Website.
Terms of Sale
Purchasing Goods on our Website is designed to be as simple as possible. Choose your item(s), place in the shopping cart and amend any errors prior to paying for the Goods. Please remember to double check the Goods in your cart are exactly what you would like to purchase; confirm your email address, contact details and delivery address are correct before paying for the Goods. Once you pay for the Goods, this will then be known as the “Order”. Any and all other references to “order”, “orders”, “ordering”, “item”, “items”, “bespoke item”, “unique piece” or similar terms, are a reference to the Order of Goods you have made on the Website.
If you are unable to place the order yourself, please get in touch with us and we will place the order on your behalf.
Payment can be made via the integrated merchant services via our Website, which include all major credit cards including (but not limited to) Visa, Mastercard, American Express and payment by direct bank transfer is possible too.
If there are any charges for payments by credit card, they will be added to the total order amount and notified to you before you place an order.
Payment is taken from your card when the Goods are purchased on the website.
If you are ordering a bespoke or unique piece from the Website, or if the listing shows “POA”, please get in touch with us before placing an order, as the price you pay could vary considerably, depending on the goods you wish to order.
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment for the Goods, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We reserve the right to reject a payment or order that we feel is at risk or could be fraudulent. If this occurs, the price will be refunded using the same payment method and you will be contacted and offered the opportunity to pay by another means, or to cancel your order.
Once the order has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email from us, which constitutes your “Order Confirmation”
When you receive an Order Confirmation from us, this does not mean that we have accepted your order, this only means that the order has been successfully received by us. Following Order Confirmation, we will undertake verification checks. Subject to receiving positive results from these checks, a contract of Sale will come into existence between you and us and we will check availability of the Goods you ordered.
There is a small chance that we may send you an email to inform you that we can not accept your order. This will be unlikely, however could be for the following reasons:
- The Goods are not available;
- Your payment is unsuccessful;
- Security checks are unsuccessful;
- There has been an error by us in the pricing or description of the Goods; or
- The manufacturer has changed the sale price of the Goods without prior notice.
If we are unable to supply you with the Goods, we will inform you of this by email and we will not process your order. If you have already paid for the Goods, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.
The images of the Goods on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the products accurately, we cannot guarantee that your browsing device’s display will accurately reflect the Goods, or that the manufacturer has changed something in the design or delivery of your chosen item. The Goods delivered to you may therefor vary slightly from the images shown on our website.
If your order is a bespoke order, we will liaise with you and the manufacturer. In some cases, it is simpler for you to liaise directly with the manufacturer on specific details of the project.
Pricing
Pricing is correct at the time you confirm your Order and pay for your Goods.
We endeavour to make reasonable efforts to display correct pricing of Goods on the Website at all times, however there is always the chance that something is incorrectly priced, generally due to a manufacturer increasing prices across their range, due to increased manufacturing costs and inflation.
If, after your Order Confirmation is received we identify that pricing has increased, we will get in touch with you to inform you of the error and we will give you the option to purchase the Goods at the correct price or to cancel your order.
We will not process your order until we have your agreement to the increased price and payment of the deficit and if we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you in writing. If you decide not to pay the increased amount, we will refund you the price you have paid as soon as possible.
The price of Goods purchased show VAT exclusive prices. UK VAT is charged on orders from within the UK. No VAT is charged on Goods which are delivered to countries outwith the UK. Please get in touch if you have any queries regarding whether VAT is payable on your Goods.
We do not have control over prices listed on any other external locations or websites. This may include Google or other search engine cached listings, shopping feeds and any other external links, either linking back to our Website, or referred links, or even generic listings where our Website is referred to. None of these are controlled by us and we are not obliged to provide products for any price which is listed on any external location.
Promotional prices or special offers will not be a regular occurrence on the Website, however in the event there are any available from time to time, they will be subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
Preparing Your Order
At the same time you receive your Order Confirmation, we will receive confirmation that you have paid for your Goods.
Once we have payment we will check stock of the item with the manufacturer. If the Goods are in stock, your item will be shipped within 2 working days. If the item is not in stock, is special order, or you have requested a bespoke item or unique piece, your order will be placed with the manufacturer and an estimated delivery date will be provided to you within 2-5 working days.
If you order a bespoke item or unique piece, we will be in touch to discuss your design and we will likely involve the manufacturer at this point too. We will guide you through this process and will be available at all stages of the process.
Delivery of Your Order
Delivery of your Goods is free to any location globally.
We aim to deliver your Goods as quickly as possible, however this depends entirely on availability of the Goods and whether you are creating a unique piece and/or your Goods are being made to order specifically for your order.
Estimated delivery dates are shown in each of the listings within our Website. The exact date that you receive your goods may vary, however we will aim to be within the estimate and will keep you informed should there be any unexpected delays.
If you change your address before your item is delivered, please be sure to inform us of your new address. This is entirely up to you to inform us of. We can not be held liable for any circumstances which result in an item being delivered to the an address which is no longer your delivery address.
Please see our Delivery Policy for additional details.
Your Right to Cancel
You have a right to cancel which lasts 14 days, starting from the date of the Order Confirmation and ends 14 days later. This means that during this period if you change your mind, or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep the Goods, you can notify us by email of your decision to cancel the order and receive a refund.
If the item states “unique piece”, “made to order”, “manufactured to order” or “sorry, no returns” anywhere within the listing description in the Website, no return will be accepted on that item. The reason for this is that we (or the manufacturer) do not keep stock of the item and we will raise an order specifically to fulfil your order. If you have paid a deposit, it will be at the discretion of the manufacturer as to whether a partial, full, or no refund will be given on cancellation of any order which stated “unique piece”, “made to order”, “manufactured to order”, or “sorry, no returns” in the listing, or discussed personalisations have been agreed via email.
If the Goods have been delivered to you before you decide to cancel your order then you must return the Goods to us without undue delay in accordance with our Returns Policy.
If you do cancel your order in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, subject to compliance with our Returns Policy, we will refund to you the full price paid for the Goods.
If you have received faulty goods, we will pay for the delivery of faulty goods back to us. Subject to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, you may be entitled to a replacement of the Goods, or a refund in accordance with our Returns Policy.
If a refund is agreed by us, a refund will be made to you within 14 days from when you inform us of your decision to cancel your order, or within 14 days from the date we receive the Goods back from you (whichever comes first).

If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
We amend these Terms from time to time and you agree that we can do so without notice. The last updated date will be visible at the end of these Terms. When you order Goods from us, the Terms in force at the time of your Order will apply.
