This watch celebrates the Year of the Snake, a traditional Chinese festivity marking the arrival of a new year. The dial features four intertwined snakes, and two of them forming the shape of two Arabic numeral eights (8), symbolizing "發" (prosperity) in Chinese culture. The number eight is often associated with "發財," a blessing for wealth and financial success.
For the Year of the Snake, Mr. Tan presents the dial in five styles, inspired by the Five Elements of nature: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. This particular model represents "Fire."
